Ruth
started her professional career as a nurse in Newcastle. She became interested
in natural therapies when her son developed asthma. She was not happy with the
treatment from the medical field so looked into the natural system. She was so
impressed by the natural treatment she decided to study Naturopathy at the
Australian College of Natural Medicine [ACNM] and Homoeopathy at the Victorian
College of Classical Homoeopathy.
Ruth
had her own multi discipline natural health clinic in Gippsland for many
years.
She
then went to Melbourne to work as the clinic manager at the ACNM. Whilst there,
she counselled, trained and assessed the final year students, represented the
ACNM at media interviews as well as teaching.
Ruth
had her own column with a doctor in a Melbourne newspaper.
Ruth
came back to Gippsland and worked as a pathology nurse whilst she set up her
practice again.
She
is now working at Dyology and has been there for the last 18 months.
